Bison trip to Albuquerque for three games at Lobo Classic

The games: The North Dakota State men’s basketball team (1-4) will travel to Albuquerque, NM for three games at the Lobo Classic on November 25-27.
Nov 25 vs Northern Colorado 8:30pm CT / 7:30pm MT

Nov. 27 vs. Jacksonville State 4:00 PM CT / 3:00 PM MT

Where to see: Saturday’s game against New Mexico will be streamed live on GoLobos.com via the Mountain West Network. The games on Friday and Sunday have no video.

Against Northern Colorado: Friday marks the first meeting between North Dakota State and Northern Colorado since February 1, 2003, when both schools were members of the North Central Conference. The Bison lead the all-time series, 34-20.

First meeting with the Lobos: Saturday’s game will be the first-ever meeting between NDSU and New Mexico.

First meeting with the Gamecocks: Sunday’s game will be the first-ever meeting between NDSU and Jacksonville State.

First double-double for Morgan: second grader Andrew Morgan registered his first college double-double with 23 points and a career-high 14 rebounds in NDSU’s win over Crown College on November 20.

Miller time: Freshman Guard Tajavis Miller has double-digit goals in three straight games, including 20 points at Indiana State on Nov. 17. He leads NDSU with 12 three-pointers this season.

Hastreiter gets hot: NDSU newbie Sam Hastreiter set an NDSU record for clean threes with a perfect 7-on-7 from Beyond the Arc against Pacific on November 13. Hastreiter finished the game with 24 points and six rebounds.
The Lincoln, Neb. native has made 11 of 17 (65 percent) from three-point range this season.

First double-double for Nelson: bison jr Grant Nelson registered his first double-double of his career on November 13 against Pacific, finishing with 19 points and 12 rebounds.

Tajavis Assists: Tajavis Miller had 14 points, nine assists and five rebounds against Pacific on November 13. His nine assists were the most by a Bison since Sam Griesel scored 12 at TCU on December 22, 2020.

Skunberg Results: Junior Boden Skunberg scored a career-high 17 points in the season opener by finishing 10th in Arkansas. He surpassed that mark with 19 points against Crown on November 20.

Story of two halves: Despite being 1-4, NDSU is surpassing their opponent 214-203 in the second half of this season. The Bison beat No. 5 Kansas 40-34 after halftime, and NDSU amassed 57 points against Pacific in the last 20 minutes.

Top group: For the past three seasons, NDSU has been ranked 50th out of 358 Division I schools in terms of win rate.

Four direct title games: The Bison have played in four consecutive Summit League Tournament championship games from 2019-22, winning the 2019 and 2020 title. NDSU has played in eight of the last ten Summit League championship games dating back to March 2013.
