Kingambit is the “Big Blade” Pokémon, which is a dark and steely type. This humanoid, two-legged Pokémon evolves from a Bisharp and is the only known Pokémon that can learn the Kowtow Cleave attack. Its entries in the Pokédex are as follows:

Scarlet: “Only a Bisharp who excels in his vast army can evolve into Kingambit.”

Violet: Although it commands a vast army in battle, it is not adept at devising complex strategies. It only uses brute force to keep going.

Where can I find Pawniard?

Pawniard can be found in Southern Province (Area One) or Eastern Province (Area Three). You can find Pawniards near river banks so they aren’t that hard to find. After completing Victory Road, you can also find Pawniard in Area Zero.

Evolving from Pawniard all the way to Bisharp is a daunting task since this Pokemon evolves at level 52. You can speed this up by using the auto-battle feature, but it may take forever to complete.

An easier way to do this and complete your Pokédex would be to simply catch a Bisharp yourself. Head further into the Northern Province (Area Two) and throw a Poké Ball in the way and you’re one step closer to a Kingambit.

How do I get Kingambit?

This evolution method is a bit tricky to figure out, but luckily we’re here to tell you how to evolve Kingambit. First you need to get one Chief’s Coat of Armsby a bisharp surrounded by pawniards. They can be found in the Northern Province (Area Two) in the Bamboo Thicket area. Catch a bisharp yourself and see if it has a leader crest on it. Again. it must be a Bisharp leading a bunch of Pawniards. If it’s alone and without pawniards, it’s not who you want to catch.

The next step in getting Kingambit is to be the best Kingambit (at least for the next three bisharps). You should defeat three Bisharp surrounded by Pawniard. Keep in mind that they can take some time to spawn, so keep an eye on the bamboo thickets to defeat three Bisharps.

If you get all of this right, all you have to do is level Bisharp up through auto battles, defeating wild Pokemon, defeating trainers, or using a Rare Candy. When you level up Bisharp, you’ll be alerted that your Pokemon is ready to evolve.
